At any given time, the pottery listed here may be of Hopi,
Zuni, Acoma, Santo Domingo, or Santa Clara Pueblo origin. This type of Native
pottery is generally made from clay found local to the pueblo (or occasionally
from reused pottery sherds) and wood or dung fired. The pottery may be incised
(carved), polished, or painted.
